MISSION STATEMENT Arms of Love Ministries protects and promotes life by serving individuals and families in order to build a better community.
We are a local non-profit organization that has been serving the Riverbend community for over 15 years. The main facility is located at 4854 N. Alby Road in Godfrey, with a satellite office located in Wood River.
There are 3 main segments of operation at Arms of Love which include the Options Now Women's Resource Center, The Peace Ministry, and an ManUp Men's Ministry.
The Options Now Women's Resource Center is a safe, confidential, non-judging place for women and men in crisis pregnancy situations to come for help that offers many free and confidential services including:
- Pregnancy Testing
- STD Testing
- Ultrasounds
- Prenatal Vitamins
- Peer Counseling
- Maternity Clothes
- Baby Supplies
- Parenting Classes
- GED Classes
- Abstinence Education in public and private junior high and high schools
- Pro-Marriage Initiative
We also offer referrals for the following services:
- Medical Services
- Legal Assistance
- Temporary Shelters
- Referrals for Adoption
The Peace Ministry is an abortion recovery group that meets in confidentiality throughout the year. Led by women who have experienced abortion and want to help other women, this has been one of the fastest growing initiatives of Arms of Love Ministries. We have 3 main fundraising events throughout the year including our Annual Banquet (spring), Baby Bottle Campaign (Mother's Day through Father's Day), and LifeWALK (fall). Be sure to participate in the fundraisers, as support comes only through private efforts of churches, individuals, and businesses in the community; no state or federal funding is utilized.
